Triamcinolone is a potent corticosteroid agent of use in suppression of allergic and inflammatory disorders, for example:

  • psoriasis
  • eczema
  • neurodermatitis
  • otitis externa
  • inflamed joints - intra-articular injection
  • inflamed soft tissue e.g. intra-dermal injection into hypertrophic scars
  • oral ulceration
