Arterial small vessel disease
Disorders that cause small vessel arterial disease may cause clinically apparent lesions - for example in the fingers and toes - but may also compromise circulation to internal organs, including the brain, kidney, heart, and eyes, in which there may be a significant delay before clinical manifestations become apparent.
