  • Discontinuing antidepressants

    Here, we will examine factors to consider when stopping antidepressants, with a discussion of linear vs proportional tapers. This session will also cover how to differentiate between withdrawal symptoms and a relapse of mental health symptoms.

  • Vitamin B12 deficiency

    This session will review the causes of vitamin B12 deficiency and when it is appropriate to test. Furthermore, we will examine the management of vitamin B12 deficiency, including a discussion on oral vs intramuscular therapy.

  • Dry eye

    This session will offer a review of the causes of dry eye syndrome, a discussion about preservative toxicity and a review of primary care treatment options and indications for referral.

  • Diplopia

    This session will cover the initial assessment of the patient presenting with diplopia, including red flags and findings that require immediate onward referral. It will also include a review of the visual standards for driving in a patient with diplopia.
