The second branchial arch arteries are the second of the branchial arch arteries to form. As expected from their name, they forms within the second pair of branchial arches.

They regress by the start of the fifth week of gestation. The only remnants of the second branchial arch after birth are the hyoid artreries and stapedial arteries.
