This is an unusual form of systemic sclerosis which is characterised by:

  • Raynaud's phenomenon
  • pulmonary fibrosis
  • renal failure
  • cardiac fibrosis
  • gastrointestinal fibrosis

There is little skin involvement.

Immunological investigation may reveal:

  • anti-Scl 70 antibody
  • anti-centromere antibody
  • anti-nucleolus antibody
