This is lymphangitis secondary to malignancy. The most frequent associations are with cancers of the stomach, prostate, pancreas and breast. Peripherally, it may present with lymphoedema.
Pulmonary involvement is indicated by fine reticular or nodular shadowing of the lung fields on a plain PA chest radiogram. Rarely, Kerley B lines may be seen.
