    • irreversibly acetylates platelet cyclo-oxygenase and impairs thromboxane A2 production
    • the effects of aspirin on platelets lasts 1 week
  • non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
  • dipyrimadone
  • sulphinpyrazone
  • penicillin and cephalosporins (high doses)
  • tricyclic antidepressants
  • heparin
  • dextran
