Talon noire
- characterised by tiny black pinpoint dots grouped together
- may be located on the posterior edge of the heel
- the cause may be sheer forces causing extravasation of blood. patients are often involved in sports e.g. football.
- lesion may be confused with a verruca or occasionally a melanoma
Treatment:
- none is indicated. The lesions will resolve as they are extruded and move through the epidermis
