Presentation is with slightly irritant orange-brown spots, often on the lower legs.
On examination, small petechiae 'cayenne pepper spots' may be seen.
Majocchi-Schaumberg disease tends to be persist. Occasionally it may resolve spontaneously. The irritation associated with the lesions may be relieved by topical steroids.
