Longissimus thoracis
Longissimus thoracis is part of the longissimus muscles of the back. It inserts into the:
- ends of the transverse processes of the thoracic vertebrae
- most most inferior 10 ribs between the angle and tubercles
It arises from the transverse processes of the inferior vertebrae.
