Titles

Authoring team

Titles are always in block capitals. The program is designed such that the title of the node appears automatically in a new node. However, it is important not to take the title for granted. For example, a node titled clinical features, referring to hypertension should be fully titled as follows: "CLINICAL FEATURES OF HYPERTENSION"

A node called "candidiasis (acute)" should have the title line "ACUTE CANDIDIASIS" - avoid brackets, and make sense in the title.

There is always a line between the title and the first line of text, even in the rare case that the title runs to two lines.

Synonyms should be included if they are pertinent - drug synonyms are probably not pertinent. Synonyms are written the same as the true title, and separated by two spaces, a dash (-) and another two spaces.
