Clinical features
The clinical features include:
- fever
- transient eosinophilia; acute tubulointerstitial nephritis associated with NSAIDs is NOT associated with eosinophilia
- haematuria
- mild proteinuria
- sterile pyuria
- skin rash
A raised creatinine level with acute renal failure occurs in 50% of patients.
