Lysozyme
Lysozyme is the enzyme acetylamino-polysaccharidase. It exists in vitro in egg white. In vivo, it is important because of its ability to degrade the cell walls of Gram-negative bacteria. It is found in tears and in the lysosomes of neutrophils.
