Clinical trials in pharmacology
Clinical trials in pharmacology are good at looking for benefits - almost by definition since this is what is being looked for, but less good at looking for risks and limits.
The validity of trials should be assessed by looking at:
- aims
- basic design
- methods of assessment
- the numbers of people involved
