Fibrous dysplasias
This is a group of disorders in which development of abnormally placed fibrous elements causes skeletal deformity during growth.
Different types of fibrous dysplasia include fibrous dysplasia (Jeffe-Lichenstein), fibrous dysplasia with skin pigmentation and precocious puberty (Albright-McCune syndrome), cherubism and neurofibromatosis.
