Pigmentary glaucoma is a form of open angle glaucoma occurring in conjunction with the pigment dispersion syndrome. Iris pigment is shed and accumulates in the trabecular meshwork.
It is difficult to treat and often occurs early in life. Surgery or laser treatment are the best options.
