Examples which are commoner in young adults
Age can be used as an important discriminating factor when considering cancer:
- examples of cancers that are commonest in younger adults (ie those less than 40 years old)
- testicular cancer
- Hodgkin's disease
Note that some tumours occur almost exclusively in children.
