Regulation (oxoglutarate dehydrogenase)
Oxoglutarate dehydrogenase is a non-equilibrium, flux-generating reaction within the tricarboxylic acid cycle.
It is stimulated by:
- increasing concentration of ADP relative to ATP
- increasing concentration of NAD relative to NADH
- increasing concentration of coenzyme A relative to succinyl-CoA
- increasing calcium concentration
