No signs of impending respiratory arrest
Are there signs of acute laryngo-tracheobronchitis (croup)?
- if yes then humidify and observe
- if unsure then perform a lateral neck radiograph:
- if the radiograph is normal then treat for croup
- if the radiograph is abnormal read under "acute respiratory arrest"
