Clinical features suggestive of hypernatraemic dehydration
hypernatraemic dehydration should be suspected if a child has a history of gastroenteritis plus any of the following:
- jittery movements
- increased muscle tone
- hyperreflexia " convulsions
- drowsiness or coma
