Treat pain
Prompt factor replacement and temporary immobilization of painful joints are often sufficient to relieve pain.
If this is inadequate, consider:
- joint aspiration under Factor cover
- analgesics such as paracetamol which do not interfere with platelet function - but not aspirin
- ibuprofen for chronic pain
