Nonspecific symptoms
Non-specific symptoms include:
- confusion
- falls
- deteriorating functional ability
These are often caused by:
- medication
- myxoedema
- myocardial infarction
- infection - pneumonia, urinary tract infection or even septicaemia
- subdural haematoma
- pulmonary embolism
- hypothermia
