Writer's cramp
Writer's cramp is a type of focal dystonia occurring in the hand of an individual who has been writing to excess. There is a tightening of the fingers, hands and forearm whilst writing.
It is similar to any of the occupational cramps, where repeated use of a muscle group leads to spasm and pain.
