Clinical features
These include:
- profuse, watery rhinorrhoea
- nasal obstruction - variable form side to side; worst in the lowermost nostril when lying down
- sneezing
On examination:
- congested nasal mucosa
- snotty nose
- symptoms disproportional to nose as examined
