  • the orlistat group lost 10.2% body weight vs. 6.1%

During the second year:

  • those who continued on orlistat gained 2% body weight
  • those who continued on placebo gained 2.5% body weight
  • those who swapped from placebo to orlistat lost 0.9%
  • those who swapped from orlistat to placebo gained 4%
