Clinical features
Patient's with Alport's syndrome often present with haematuria and proteinuria.
Sensorineural deafness begins initially in the high frequency range but progresses to involve the speech range and eventually causes complete deafness.
Ten percent of patients have eye abnormalities including:
- cataracts
- anterior lenticonus
- macular lesions
