Haemangioma of the skin
A cutaneous haemangioma is a benign tumour made up of newly-formed blood vessels in the skin.
Different types of haemangioma are recognised:
- capillary naevus
- port-wine stain
- vin rose patch
- cavernous haemangioma - strawberry naevus
- cherry angioma - Campbell de Morgan's spot
- telangiectasia
