Types
Eccrine poroma is believed to have a number of variants:
- malignant eccrine poroma:
- may arise de novo or from transformation of a benign eccrine poroma
- anaplastic cells showing pagetoid spread but still containing glycogen
- metastasis is common
- eccrine poromatosis: multiple lesions on the palms and soles
- acrosyringeal naevus: linear lesion on leg
