Clinical features
Presentation is in infancy. The characteristic features include:
- severe diarrhoea
- failure to thrive
- loss of hair
- a characteristic pustular rash over the mucocutaneous junctions, particularly the mouth, the genital areas and pressure areas
The onset of this condition is delayed if the child is breast fed.
