The clinical features of type 2A hyperlipidaemia include:
- in all forms of the disease:
- increased risk of ischaemic heart disease
- tendon xanthomata
- xanthelasmata
- corneal arcus
- polyarthritis
- in homozygotes:
- cutaneous xanthomata
- supravalvular aortic stenosis
