Subaortic curtain (heart, anatomy)

Authoring team

The subaortic curtain is part of the fibrous skeleton of the heart. It is a fibrous sheet that spans the gap between the fibrous arches supporting the right posterior and left posterior leaflets of the aortic valve. It passes inferiorly within the wall of the right atrium. It blends with the fibrous core of the anterior leaflet of the mitral valve.
