  • going to bed - lateness, settling difficulties, fears, rituals
  • during the night - wakening, episodic behaviour, snoring, restlessness, bedwetting
  • waking - early, difficulty
  • during the day - lethargy, sleepiness

For any sleep disorder:

  • the precise clinical details
  • onset
  • course
  • frequency
  • associated features
  • diagnosis and treatment
  • effect on the family
