If a skin reaction occurs:

  • check or change site of the s.c. needle
  • review syringe contents
  • add Hyalase 1500 IU or Hydrocortisone 25-50mg per syringe

Firmness or swelling at the injection site is not in itself an indication for change but pain or obvious inflammation is.
