Bannwarth's syndrome is a meningoradiculoneuritis that occurs in Lyme disease.
This is the commonest neurological manifestation of Lyme disease in Europe. It is characterised by a CSF lymphocyte pleocytosis, intense radicular pain (especially at night), and usually lacks typical signs of meningitis, e.g. headache, nausea.
