Treatment of intracerebral / acute subdural haematoma
Traumatic intracerebral haematoma and acute subdural haematoma often occur together and are treated by evacuation. Burr holes are usually insufficient and are extended into a scalp flap.
A 'question' mark flap usually provides good access to both frontal and temporal 'burst' lobes.
