Resolution
Resolution has two key meanings in medicine:
- the phase of new tissue construction and remodelling after an acute or chronic insult
- the ability to which two seperate objects may be distinguished by the eye, or eye and microscopic apparatus. Optical resolution is largely dependent on the optical properties of the system and the wavelength of light.
