Hepatic haemangiosarcoma
Hepatic haemangiosarcomata are highly vascular and highly malignant tumours. Fortunately, they are rare.
They are associated with exposure to:
- vinyl chloride monomers
- thorotrast
- arsenic
Patients present with:
- hepatomegaly
- right hypochondrial pain
- blood-stained ascites
- bruit over the liver
