Atypical clinical presentation in hypothyroidism
Some patients may present with the following unusual features:
- hypothermia
- congestive cardiac failure
- pericardial and pleural effusions
- ileus and intestinal pseudo-obstruction
- psychosis
- seizures
- ataxia.
