Complications
In addition to the features of natural progression of the disease, a number of other sequalae may be observed:
- syndrome of inappropriate antidiuretic hormone
- disseminated intravascular coagulation
- cardiac and respiratory arrest
Long term complications can affect nearly any neurological system. (1)
