Loss of only spinothalamic tract
Causes of only spinothalamic tract loss in spinal cord disease includes:
- peripheral neuropathy:
- diabetes mellitus
- amyloid
- syringomyelia
- Brown-Sequard syndrome - contralateral leg
- lateral medullary syndrome - contralateral to other signs
- anterior spinal artery thrombosis
- Tangier disease
