Shoulder pain (relating common conditions to signs)
- subacromial bursitis - pain and restriction of active shoulder abduction
- supraspinatus tendinitis - results in painful arc
- strained acromioclavicular joint - pain and restriction of active shoulder abduction
- frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis) - prominent restriction of external rotation of the shoulder joint; more than internal rotation or abduction
- infraspinatus tendinitis - pain on resisted shoulder external rotation
- subscapularis tendinitis - pain on resisted shoulder internal rotation
- bicipital tendinitis - pain on resisted elbow flexion
