Aetiology
Isolated myalgia can be a result of overuse or soft tissue injury.
More generalised myalgia is a non specific feature of many diseases including:
- fibromyalgia syndrome
- polyarteritis nodosa
- Wegener's granulomatosis
- Takayasu's disease
