Clinical features
Incubation period varies from 2 weeks to longer than 18 months. Presentation is with
- fever
- hepatosplenomegaly
- emaciation
- pancytopenia
- lymphadenopathy is rare
Host response is highly variable, ranging from subclinical to potentially fatal infection.
