Features of vaginitis in a young woman
Organisms:
- candida
- Trichonomas vaginalis
Clincial features:
- rarely pyuria or haematuria
- vaginal odour and/or discharge. Other features include pruritus, dyspareunia, external dysuria. There is no urgency or increased frequency. On examination there is vulvovaginitis
Urine:
- less than 10^2 cells per milimetre
