Neutrophils (raised)
Neutrophils > 7.5 x 10^9/l may be caused by:
- bacterial infection
- surgery
- burns
- trauma
- haemorrhage
- infarction
- inflammation
- polymyalgia
- myeloproliferative disorders
- leukaemias
- polyarteritis nodosa
- drugs e.g. steroids
