Clinical features
- may present with slowly evolving scaly erythematous patches
- sites frequently affected include the upper arms, trunk, buttocks and thighs
- there may be a slow progression and extension of the disease into plaques and eventually tumours
- the symptomatology associated with this disease is variable and ranges from being asymptomatic to severe itching
- often the disease is initially diagnosed as eczema or psoriasis
