Continuation phase of treatment of active TB

The continuation phase of treatment of tuberculosis consists of double therapy for four months:
- rifampicin
- isoniazid (with pyridoxine)
·Patients with active meningeal TB should be offered: -
- isoniazid (with pyridoxine), rifampicin, pyrazinamide and ethambutol for 2months
- then isoniazid (with pyridoxine) and rifampicin for a further 10 months.
- a glucocorticoid
