Related injuries
In suspected nasal fractures, which are often left until the swelling has subsided, check for symptoms and signs of other facial or skull fractures which should be referred immediately such as:
- diplopia
- numbness of the cheek
- malocclusion of the jaw
- trismus
- CSF rhinorrhoea
- anosmia
