Clinical features
Clinical features of chronic mediastinitis include:
- the condition may be asymptomatic and only discovered on chest x-ray
- if symptomatic then it may present with features of superior vena caval obstruction, e.g. giddiness, headache, epistaxis, facial puffiness, distended veins in the neck, face and arms
