Endocrine diseases causing diabetes
A number of endocrine diseases and conditions may be associated with diabetes mellitus mainly as a result of the excess production of hormones which antagonise the action of insulin:
- acromegaly
- Cushing's syndrome
- glucagonoma
- phaeochromocytoma
